A: At present we are not supplying wholesale.
Q: I don’t fit into the standard
sizes can I still order a garment?

via email. Once your order has been placed we will contact you about which measurements we will need.
Please note, we will only custom fit the styles shown on this web site and do not make other people's designs or copy garments made by other designers or companies.
Q: How do I choose the right size for
my garment/s
A: Check your measurements against our sizing guide page and choose the size that
your measurements best fit into, there are size ranges for both men and women’s garments.
If your measurements don’t fit into just one size you may need a custom fitted garment.
We are happy to help with sizing, please email us if you have any questions.
Please Note: Our corset styles should NOT be ordered using the measurements
on the sizing guide. These styles are ordered by waist measurement. Please contact us if you have any questions about whether you will fit into our standard sizing.
Q: Can I send you my own fabric to have
a garment made from.
A: Yes, we can usually make a garment from fabric that you supply.
Not all fabrics will be suitable though and we usually request a sample swatch be sent to us first.
There is no reduction in the price of a garment when you supply your own fabric.
Please email us about the requirements for specific types of garments.
Q: I don’t see many white garments
or fabrics listed on the web site, why is that?
A: As we are a Gothic clothing company
and usually don’t sew white or light coloured garments,
we find it very difficult to keep light coloured fabrics completely clean during manufacturing and
they can pick up small marks from our sewing machines etc. We do our best to keep them clean
but you may need to have a white or light coloured garment cleaned after it has been made.
Q: How do I choose the right size
for my back lacing corset or back and front lacing corset?
A: Our corset styles are sized by waist measurement and should be ordered several inches
smaller than your natural waist measurement (usually 4 – 5 inches smaller) Eg, if you have a natural waist of
28 inches and wish to order an Edwardian style corset then the 24 inch size should be a good choice for you.
However, not everyone will fit into our standard sizes and we are more than happy to help you
make the right choice.
Please email us if you are unsure about sizing. Please do not use the sizing guide when ordering corsets.
Q: How do I lace my corset
A: Please refer to our Corset Lacing Guide here
Q: Can I use my Gallery Serpentine
corset for waist training?
A: Our corsets are very sturdily constructed but are not made with waist training as
their main purpose.
They are designed for regular social wear and are not intended for the daily high compression required for waist training.
Q: How are Gallery Serpentine corsets
constructed?
A: Our corsets are made with a reinforced outer fabric and are lined with cotton drill (twill),
our lacing cord is a very strong tubular nylon. Our corsets are boned with a very heavy
duty poly propolene boning which feels very similiar to steel boning.
We can also use steel boning (a mixture of flat sprung steels and spiral steels) if you prefer,
please tick the 'add steel boning' box when ordering.
Q: How do I clean my corset?
A: We recommend cleaning by a reputable dry cleaner except for printed or PVC corsets.
Printed or PVC corsets need to be hand washed in cool water and then dried away from direct sunlight. Do not dryclean PVC corsets.
